Siphiwe Oversized Fabric & Ceramic Beaded Lace Platter

This exquisite handcrafted oversized fabric platter is the result of a unique collaboration between women artisans in the Lavumisa region of Swaziland.  Hand made with fabric, bone and ceramic beads.  

The Siphiwe Collection from The Song of The Weaver Collection is inspired by Siphiwe Mngometulu.  Siphiwe is the backbone of her family.  After her husband left them with nothing, she worked hard to earn back her cows and her strength is represented through the bones incorporated into the designs.
