Mbizi - Zebra Hand Knitted Soft Toy

Mbizi (Shona word for Zebra) is knitted by hand by one of the very talented women in the Mutare Remand Prison in Zimbabwe.  Many of these women are the sole bread winners for their families.  Each knitted toy includes the name and picture of its maker. 

Mbizi has many friends available for purchase, Nzou (Elephant), Twza (Giraffe), Chipembere (Rhino), Mvuu (hippo) and Shumba (lion). 

The perfect size for a child to take along on adventures with them or they can find their home on a shelf and add character to any room. 

Please allow for variances in colors and design as each item is uniquely handmade.
