Dry-aged, cured beef biltong seasoned with traditional South African spices. Available in quantities from 1/2 lb to 1 lb.

Product notes Biltong is air-cured rather than cooked like jerky — it is slowly wind-dried, which preserves natural enzymes and creates a tender texture. High in quality protein and low in carbohydrates, biltong is an excellent snack for low‑carb or keto diets; pair it with avocado and boiled eggs for additional healthy fats.

Ingredients: Traditional blend: Beef, salt, monosodium glutamate, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, corn, caramel color, hydrolyzed corn protein, palm olein, garlic powder, silicon dioxide, spices, potassium sorbate (preservative), sugar, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar.

Steve’s blend: Beef, salt, pepper, coriander, nutmeg, cloves, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar.

Worcestershire sauce (component): distilled white vinegar, molasses, sugar, water, salt, onions, anchovies, garlic, cloves, tamarind extract, natural flavorings, chili pepper extract. White vinegar listed above is standard white distilled vinegar diluted to 5% acidity.

Allergens: Contains fish (anchovies in Worcestershire sauce). Please review product images for full ingredient lists.

Storage & handling: Once opened, consume within 3 days. If you order wet biltong, store it in a paper bag in a cool, dry place — wet biltong retains more moisture and can mold if kept sealed in plastic, where moisture cannot escape.

Ordering options: At checkout, please indicate your preferences: with fat or without fat, and wet or dry.

Wet vs. Dry explained

  • Wet biltong: less dehydrated, with a moist, red interior (comparable to the texture of a rare steak, though there is no blood).
  • Dry biltong: more dehydrated, with a drier, browner interior (similar in texture to a well-done steak).
